ME/CFS Sydney Inner West Cafe Group
We are calling to all ME/CFS sufferers living in the Sydney Inner West area
to join the Cafe Group. The aim of it is to dispel the feeling of loneliness
by gathering together and socialising, while enjoying a cappuccino. The venue
is at Berkelow's bookshop cafe, on Norton St. Leichhardt. For more information

C.A.C.T.U.S. (CFS And Community Team of United Support) is a community based support group for ME/CFS sufferers, their families, and friends, in the North Western suburbs of Sydney.
Gold Coast/Tweed Heads: a support group for people with FMS/ME/CFS meets at Tweed Heads Bowls Club on the 1st Friday of every month. For more info phone Bronwyn 0755 939 319 or Di 0755 247 686. The group is auspiced by the Northern Rivers ME/CFS/FM Association.
Nambucca Valley FM/CFS support group meets 4th Friday of the month from 2-4pm at Agnes Grant Centre, Macksville Hospital. Email Nambucca Valley FMS/CFS@yahoo.com.

Tropical North Queensland Support Group
The ME/CFS Society of Victoria provides support, information and resources, and publishes "Emerge" Magazine. The Society sponsors Support Groups in many regional locations. There are also telephone contacts in quite a few areas where no groups are running. Full details are available from the Society or the support group list on their website.
Arthritis Victoria sponsors Fibromyalgia support groups throughout Victoria. There are evening meetings at their premises 263-265 Kooyong Road, Elsternwick and also meetings in Box Hill South. Check out this page on their website (look under "condition specific groups").
Bass Coast Fibromyalgia Syndrome Support Group
We offer phone & email support to people with Fibromyalgia, but we also
have members with ME/CFS. Our membership is mixed, and everyone is welcome.
We meet in Wonthaggi, Victoria, every month except January - a formal meeting
with a guest speaker on the even months (starting again Feb. 06) and an informal
coffee & chat meeting on the odd months (starting again March 06). A bi-monthly
newsletter is sent out to members just before the formal meeting.

ACTA (Australian Chemical Trauma Alliance Inc.) is a non-profit organisation for people whose health has been adversely affected by chemicals. It is a national organisation operated by volunteers with State and regional representatives. Some States feature regular social gatherings. aessra, the Allergy and Environmental Sensitivity Support and Research Association, is Australia's longest running support group for people with allergies and sensitivities, particularly chemical sensitivities.
Allergy, Sensitivity & Environmental Health Association Qld (ASEHA Qld Inc) - "a voluntary community organisation giving support to people with allergy, food intolerance, yeast sensitivity, multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS)."
Anaphylaxis Australia - "developing anaphylaxis awareness through education, research & support".
TAGS (Tick Alert Group Support) - a registered, non-profit, charitable Australian organisation which disseminates information about ticks to the general community, and gives support to individuals suffering from tick-borne disease.

ANZMES - the Associated New Zealand ME (Myalgic Encephalopathy) Society provides support, information and advocacy, and sponsors local support groups. There are also are contact people in areas where no support group is present.
