ACT ME/CFS Society - information and support in Canberra.
ACTA (Australian Chemical Trauma Alliance Inc.) is a non-profit organisation for people whose health has been adversely affected by chemicals.
Adults Need Smiles Too! - a charity project being run from Melbourne, Victoria, but covering the whole of Australia by post. It sends inspirational mail-outs to adult Australians who have a severe chronic or terminal illness (including severe physical and psychiatric illnesses) or are frail aged persons. Members may be nominated to join Adults Need Smiles Too! by themselves or another person. Volunteers and donor/supporters also welcome.

Alison Hunter Memorial Foundation - news and information about the science and politics of current CFS research and advocacy issues, from a mainly Australian angle. Includes information from the 1998, 1999 and 2002 Sydney CFS Conferences, and comprehensive comment and analysis on the Guidelines, and a new medical politics section.
Australian Chemical Trauma Alliance - ACTA is a support group for people who have been affected by chemicals. The website has news about the effects of various chemicals and toxic substances on people's health, and multiple chemical sensitivity. There is a message board.
C.A.C.T.U.S. (CFS And Community Team of United Support) is a community based support group for ME/CFS sufferers, their families, and friends, in the North Western suburbs of Sydney.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Housing Australia Network (CFSHAN) - "a free service available at Yahoo Groups and moderated by Jonathan Wilson in Victoria. CFSHAN seeks to service each state/territory of Australia. Its success will depend on how many people use each states site. It can enable communication between sufferers specifically with CFS related illnesses regarding their accommodation needs." There is a Yahoo group for each State where people can seek or offer accommodation.

We have some great personal sites in Australia and New Zealand. Many contain very useful information on CFS and related illnesses, accounts of treatments and therapies people have tried, and useful tips for coping.
